Terms of Service

This website and our photography services are provided by Indy Home Photo LLC (“Indy Home Photo,” “we”), based in Indianapolis, Indiana. These terms apply when you book a shoot or use this website. By booking, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't book. Questions are welcome at team@indyhomephoto.com.

Our services

We provide real estate photography for homes and listings in Indianapolis, Indiana and nearby areas. The services you can book today are Full Coverage Photos, Virtual Twilight and Floor Plan. Anything marked “coming soon” is not available yet. The descriptions on our site are summaries of what each service includes.

Prices and payment

• Your price is worked out from the size of the home, the services you choose and how far the home is from downtown Indianapolis. It is shown before you pay.
• Booking more than one service can earn a bundle discount, which is shown at checkout.
• A travel fee may apply to homes outside our no-fee area. The distance and fee are shown before you pay.
• You pay in full online when you schedule, by card through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• The total shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
• If the home turns out to be larger than the size you entered, or farther away than shown, we may adjust the price. We will contact you before charging any difference.

Referral codes and discounts

Referral codes and promotions apply only to the shoots and conditions stated when they are offered. You can't use your own referral code, and we may end or change a promotion at any time.

Scheduling, access and preparation

• We email you when we start your shoot, and if you asked for a specific time we confirm it by email. Times can shift a little with traffic and earlier shoots.
• You must have the right to authorize photography of the property, as the owner, the owner's agent, or with the owner's permission.
• Please make sure we can get in (a lockbox code or someone at home), that the home is tidy, and that the driveway and the street in front are clear.
• We photograph your home as it is. We will move or adjust a few things where we can, but we can't clean, stage or rearrange furniture.
• If we can't get in, or the home isn't ready when we arrive, we will contact you and reschedule your shoot at no charge.
• For safety, we may decline or stop a shoot if the property or conditions aren't safe, for example dangerous weather, aggressive animals or hazards.

Weather

We shoot in the weather we have. If rain, overcast skies or snow aren't how you want your home to look, please reschedule before your shoot. If conditions aren't safe for our crew, we will contact you to reschedule.

Delivery of your photos

We aim to deliver your edited photos within 24 hours after your shoot. We email you a private link to your photo gallery. The gallery stays online for 90 days, so please download your photos in that time. Weather, technical problems or unusually heavy demand can cause delays. If we expect one, we will let you know.

Satisfaction

If you aren't happy with your photos, tell us within 5 days of delivery. We will make it right with a re-edit, a reshoot or a price adjustment, whichever best fits the problem.

Photos and how you may use them

• We own the copyright in the photos and floor plans we create.
• Once you have paid, you receive a license to use the delivered photos and floor plans to market the property: listings, the MLS, websites, social media and print. You may share them with the property's owner, your brokerage and other professionals working on that listing.
• You may not sell or sublicense them, or use them for other properties or unrelated purposes, without our written permission.
• We may show photos we have taken in our portfolio, on our website and on social media unless you ask us not to in writing.

Virtual edits

Virtual Twilight edits a daytime photo to look like dusk. It is a digital edit and not a photo taken at twilight. Some listing services and local rules require edited or virtual images to be labeled. You are responsible for following the rules that apply to your listing.

Cancellations and refunds

Our Cancellation and refund policy explains how to cancel or reschedule and when you get a refund. It is part of these terms.

Our responsibility

We work hard to deliver professional results, but we can't promise any particular sale or listing outcome. We take reasonable care at the property, and you remain responsible for pets, existing hazards and valuables.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total responsibility for any claim connected to a shoot is limited to the amount you paid us for that shoot. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Using this website

The photos, text, pricing tools and design on this site belong to Indy Home Photo and may not be copied, reused or republished without written permission. Please don't misuse the site, try to break it, or try to reach areas meant for our team. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our site when you book is the one that applies to that order.
